Job Description

Southside Christian Church is a thriving and growing congregation located in beautiful Central Kentucky. Our surrounding community is a great place to raise a family, offering: solid schools, friendly neighbors, shopping/restaurants, outdoor attractions and a rich history. We are seeking a full-time worship pastor who is gifted for a modern, relevant and engaging worship style for our multi-generational church. We currenty have a talented team of vocalists with a full band who love being together and serving our church. We are seeking someone who will shepherd our existing worship and tech teams with the love of Christ, and promote growth (spiritual, skill-set and volunteers) in our ability to lead hearts to Jesus through worship.

The tasks for this position will include (but are not limited to):

Leading Sunday morning worship service(s) with weekly rehearsal/practice and devotion

Leading worship for church wide/community events

Team Leader of worship team (singers, musicians, tech team)

Enhance our online presence (website and social media)

Pastoral care for volunteers in worship community

Invest in growing our student ministry worship team
