Bethel Church, a full Gospel nondenominational Pentecostal church, was founded in 1943 as a Spirit filled body of believers whose goal was to present the gospel of Jesus Christ and to discipline believers in a closer walk with Him. 


Located in Magnolia, Arkansas, a town of 12,400 it is also the home of Southern Arkansas University with a current enrollment of 3500 students. Bethel Church believes in reaching all ages; currently providing a children's ministry, a growing high school ministry and a vibrant college outreach ( ISI ministries). We have a dedicated praise and worship team and Sunday school classes are available from nursery through our senior members.

We are looking for a pastor with experience working with a ministry team and church board. The candidate must have biblical knowledge and integrity and a desire to minister to a diverse congregation.

Responsibilities include preparation and delivery of a biblical-based message in keeping with our statement of beliefs, which are available upon request. Services are Sunday morning and evening and Wednesday evening. Providing oversight for the church with the help of the church board. Providing biblical counseling for church members and regular attendees. Over seeing , with the assistance of the church board, matters of church discipline. Visitation with elderly members, the sick and others as needed with the assistance of the church board. Presiding over communion, baptism, weddings and funerals as required. Overseeing staff with assistance of the church board. Providing new member instruction and or classes for those wishing to join our fellowship. Working with our current Sunday school staff to promote this part of our ministry. Overseeing the development of new leaders for the church.

Education: Bible school or theology training preferred but experience as a pastor will be considered. Salary and benefits upon request.
