Our small to medium size independent (60-80), non-denominational Bible believing church located in Prince George, VA. Our Sunday worship features a blended style of traditional and contemporary music lead by our dynamic Praise Team. We have many educational and Sunday school opportunities for men, women, and every age group. Our vision is to be a Beacon of Light to the Community by sharing the love of God with others as we fulfill our mission to spread the Good News of salvation in Jesus Christ by word and deed to a broken world. The part-time role of the pastor is to partner with the congregation in overseeing the life and direction of the church. Pastor must be passionate and excited as they serve God and the congregation as an Ambassador of Christ. The pastor will be responsible for preaching and teaching the Word of God, administering the Sacraments, overseeing the spiritual and leadership direction to church leaders and the congregation, and providing pastoral care.Qualifications are: Passion, enthusiasm, and a heart for serving God and Gods people.Experience as a pastor preferred.Excellent interpersonal communication, conflict management, and computer skills.Recommended candidates must submit for background check (educational, references, credit, criminal, and drug test).Salary and benefit package are open for discussion based on education and experience.If you are interested in receiving more information about this church, please email Roger Congleton at [email protected].
