FBC Stephenville is seeking God’s leadership as we search for our next Worship and Music Pastor. The Worship and Music Pastor shall seek to fulfill the biblical mandate in Ephesians 4:11-12 for equipping the saints for the work of service through worship and music to the building up of the body of Christ.  


Who We Are 


FBC Stephenville is a multi-generational church in the heart of Stephenville, Texas, a university town that is active and growingThe fellowship has a worship attendance of 500+ and weekday activities of 400+ members in disciple-making activities. 


 


Position Expectations 



  • Work alongside and contribute to the pastoral leadership and staff as a team player 

  • Lead worship on Sunday mornings to challenge the fellowship on campus and off campus (online) to grow in relationship with God 



  • Recruit and train disciples who use their musical gifts to grow the body 

  • Fulfill administrative responsibilities of scheduling, coordinating groups, budgeting, etc.

  • Model Christian character and Biblical values to the fellowship 



  • Commitment to ongoing spiritual and professional growth 

  • Passion for growing other believers into disciples who make disciples for the glory of God, the vision of FBC Stephenville 

  • Skill and knowledge of vocal techniques, varied styles in music, and ability to play instrument 

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills 

  • Advanced knowledge and ability with computers and technology 



  • Degree from accredited college or university; music degree and seminary experience preferred 

  • Physical ability to perform duties
