• Demonstrate a growing personal relationship with Christ


• Clear, personal testimony of salvation followed by baptism by immersion


• Exhibit the calling and necessary skills for leading a congregation in all aspects of worship


• Musically skillful and able to lead both instruments and vocalists to excellence in their craft


• Committed to discipleship and evangelism through the mission and community of the local church


• A team player who has appropriate loyalty to the pastor and church leadership and fully participates in the whole ministry of the church including care for souls, hospital visitation, and other areas of ministry


• Support and adherence to the Calvary Church Statement of Faith, By-laws, Staff handbook, and vision; as well as regular participation in the events and outreaches of Calvary Church


• Committed to grow spiritually, emotionally, socially, mentally, and physically


• A heart of generosity displayed through regular tithing and giving to areas under God’s direction


• Exhibits the heart of a church-planter with initiative and willingness to assume multiple rolls


• Meets the qualifications of a leader as outlined in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1


• Participation in ongoing discipleship of the church by participating in a Bible and Life group

• Craft meaningful, weekly worship services in collaboration with the Senior Pastor Lead in worship services by playing an instrument and/or singing 46 weeks a year Schedule band, worship team, and worship choir weekly through Planning Center


• Lead instrumental and vocal rehearsals to ensure team is ready for each Sunday or special event, as well as learning new songs of worship to teach the congregation


• Lead, train, and oversee the audio/visual/media teams


• Challenge, and provide training opportunities for, each area of the worship team to grow Oversee set-up and tear-down of Sunday morning worship services


• Recruit and train new worship team members and encourage individuals to grow their gifts Plan and implement special musical events including holiday services and nights of prayer and worship


• Ensure that Calvary Church is compliant with all CCLI requirements and streaming licenses Work in collaboration with the student and children's directors to challenge and grow their charges creatively in musical worship to God


• Oversee and implement the allocation and spending of the annual worship budget

• The Full-time Worship Pastor will lead an additional area of ministry that best suits their giftings


• Lead and oversee Calvary Church's Annual Block Party


• Other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor
