Job Description

This staff position is a part of the senior leadership team, helping to shape the culture and strategy of the church and staff. The focus will be on building ministry systems and operational effectiveness.

The associate pastor of ministry development will build, staff, and maintain effective discipleship, missional, and administrative systems. This associate pastor will also be a part of the teaching team, under the direction of the senior pastor.  Above all, the associaate pastor of ministry development will work with the Senior pastor to champion the vision and ministry of the church.

This position is designed for a "minister in process" - someone in the process of developing the call to ministry the Lord has on their life. The key candidate will be a highly productive pastor who can use their existing skills and gifts to equip the ministry of the church while at the same time learning the ins and outs of leading a multi-staff church, gaining experience in teaching ministry, and discovering what future position in ministry God has for them.


Qualifications: Ministry degree and two to four years of ministry experience demonstrating an ability to grow and improve effectiveness. Love for developing and coaching people. Strategic thinking and collaboration.
