Center Pointe Christian Church sits in the heart of booming suburbs on the north side of Cincinnati (Liberty Township). We are a church family (average weekly attendance 1,300) devoted to being good news and sharing good news where we live, work and play. In pursuit of that, we are in the process of a building project (adding a new worship center, children environments and lobby) as well as building a healthy culture. We are looking for the right people to move us forward in achieving those goals.

Student Worship & Creative Director Position

Center Pointe Christian Church is seeking a Student Worship & Creative Director to join our Student Ministry Team. This role is a full-time position reporting to our Student Pastor and will be responsible for cultivating a culture of worship, assisting in creating weekly programming for Center Pointe Student Ministry (CP Students). The Student Worship & Creative Director will support weekly students services (middle school and high school) and work to build a student worship team (with both adults and students). This team already exists, so the candidate must have a vision to continue to disciple this team as well as cultivate growth. This person is also responsible for the management and oversight of all AVL and media equipment in the Student Ministry. Candidates must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, fun-filled, team environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Create, oversee, and lead the weekly student worship experiences (including practices). This includes scheduling musicians and the tech team


• Develop and oversee the vision of the CP Students worship culture


• Develop, train, oversee and disciple the CP Students worship and tech teams (comprised of adults and students)


• Creating and maintaining the student ministry stage & design, including all gear, both AVL & media


• Support the Student Ministry team in executing weekend retreats, camps, and other large events


• Assist the Student Ministry team in creating digital content for Student Social Medias (YouTube, Instagram, etc)


• Edit both video and graphic design content for said social media


• Manage worship/creative/media resources within the Student Ministry budget

Education/Experience

• The successful candidate will have at least one year of experience as a worship leader, specifically in a live worship Studio experience is not required, but is definitely a positive.


• A High School diploma or equivalent is required


• Knowledge and experience with audio, lighting, and video technical elements for live production


• Preferred knowledge in video editing & social media as well

Knowledge/Skills

• Excellent vocal & instrumental skills


• Proficiency in Abelton Live, Planning Center, ProPresenter, Google Drive, and preferred experience in Final Cut or Premiere Pro


• Current and up-to-date on modern worship music


• Character that possesses spiritual discernment, emotional intelligence, and an ability to establish a rapport with both middle and high school students


• A strong desire to learn and better their craft


• A go-getter who is observant, flexible and takes initiative


• High-level communication and organizational


• Must work well alone and in a team environment


• Position requires moderate physical activity such as moving stage design pieces and gear


• Reflect Christ in your words and actions as a role model in your personal life and ministry


• In agreement with the CPCC Staff Covenant


• Must be available for extended hours due to Student Ministry events
