Job Description

Position Overview:
Teacher of Fine Arts for K through Grade 8. This position requires knowledge of Art History as well as training in art styles and techniques. The position is best held by someone who is
energetic, creative, and organized. Rigorous curriculum is provided. The Art Teacher reports directly to the lead teacher by division. This position will be part-time or 75% of a full-time contract.

Goal:
The faculty member shall prayerfully and effectively assist students in learning attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christians.

Faith & Life:
Each faculty member must confess his/her personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and indicate in writing his agreement with Article I, Section C of the Phil-Mont bylaws and acceptance of the principles stated therein.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to ascend stairs, walk reasonable distances, and to carry and move equipment of reasonable weight within the school building. Phil-Mont will make reasonable effort to accommodate individual needs for employees with disabilities.
