Job Description

The Director of Children's Ministry will be responsible for all children from birth through 5th grade while simultanieously equipping parents to be the primary faith influence in their children's lives. The successful candidate must have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and demonstrable leadership skills with a history of leading growing ministries. In addition, candidates must be able to plan and organize programming and curriculum, and be able to manage and delegate responsibilities within the children's minsitry team. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment with church staff, parents and other congregants. The position will require presence and leadership on Sunday mornings, Wendesday evenings, weekly staff meetings, Children's Team meetings and other special events, including Vacation Bible School. As a part of a dynamic and growing congregation, the candidate must also be able to demonstrate the ability to be adaptable in an ever-changing environment.
