FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH TOPEKA (www.fcctopeka.org/), an inclusive, loving, welcoming community in Topeka, KS is looking for a Director of Music and Worship Arts. The Music Director will help our neighbors experience God’s radical love by providing direct leadership of the worship ministry and teams at First Christian Church. Key responsibilities of the position include shepherding and leadership of the worship team volunteers, oversight and leadership of worship planning and implementation, and introducing children in the church’s weekday children’s ministry, ages birth to 5, to the world of music using songs, simple instruments, resources, and experiences.

We are looking for candidates with an ability and passion for worship leadership and capacity for musical leadership. As with all church staff positions, the First Christian Church Worship Coordinator must have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a demonstrated ability in staff and team leadership and discipleship.
