First English Lutheran Church, Mansfield, Ohio is seeking to hire a young and energetic Christian Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries. This position would average 24 hours per week of service in various capacities. Benefits and professional expense allowance are included. Salary is negotiable based on qualifications and experience. 

The Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries must be a committed, confessing Christian with an active prayer and devotional life. He/She must have the gifts and passion for reaching the unchurched for Jesus Christ; and for equipping God’s people for ministry. He/She will possess strong skills in working with youth and young adults, interpersonal relationships, team building, and management. This person will need skills in recruiting, equipping, empowering, and organizing volunteers as well as budget management and task delegation.  

The Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries will be primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of student ministries grades six through young adult. This person must not only love the Lord, but love working with pre-teens, teens, and young adults as he or she embraces Lutheran doctrine and theology of  the NALC (North American Lutheran Church and Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ) LCMC.
