Job Description

OVERVIEW

Rejoice is looking for a committed Christian leader with a passion for discipling young people. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience working with and equipping youth, parents, and volunteers.

RESPONSIBILITIES�

Lead efforts to disciple youth grades 6 thru 12.�

Reach out to unchurched youth.

Recruit/disciple leaders for Oasis.

Work collaboratively to develop/execute curriculum.

General pastoral duties.�

Available to teach a multi-generational audience.�

Oversee Mission trip(s) and other youth activities.

Work collaboratively with DOMO and other staff.

Participate in all staff/ministry related meetings.�

Effective communication.�

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor�s degree in youth ministry, or related field.�

Willingness to serve within the doctrinal commitments of the ELCA.�

Experience leading youth and people of multiple generations.

Background check.�

Excellent communication skills.�

A commitment to the church�s mission of Loving God, Loving people, and Living changed.
