Minister to Young Adults/Discipleship/Community

Position Summary:
CrossLife Church is a family-oriented, gospel-centered church with a mission to build lives that matter by teaching people to love, know, trust and follow Jesus. We are located in Oviedo Florida, just outside of Orlando, where within a five-mile radius of the church the fastest growing demographic is adults age 24-35. We are excited about adding a Minister of Young Adults to our team. The Minister of Young Adults will implement a comprehensive program of leading young adults--24-35 years old, both single and married--in a growing relationship with Jesus. This person must have the ability to reach and attract young adults from the community. They must also possess an entrepreneurial quality to be able to assess the opportunities to maximize the potential for reaching young adults and their families in the Oviedo/Winter Springs area. It is essential that this person also be able to connect with young adults on a social and spiritual level, with the intent of discipling them toward Christ-like maturity.

Organizational Relationships:

• Responsible to the Senior Pastor and Senior Associate Pastor


• Serve as part of the ministerial staff of CrossLife Church


• Work with other department heads to achieve an integrated approach to ministry


• Supervise Young Adult Ministry Volunteers

• Small Groups


• Leadership of Adult Discipleship Ministries


• Community Engagement

• 2-5 years experience


• Obtained Bachelor's Degree or higher


• Clear testimony of faith/passionate relationship with Jesus


• Consistent spiritual and moral character and lifestyle


• A man of prayer and of the Word


• Agreement with doctrine, mission, vision and values of CrossLife Church


• Gifted in organization, administration and interpersonal skills


• Balanced views of evangelism and discipleship, as well as knowledge and application
