Seeking an Ordained Baptist Minister for the F/T Pastoral position of a small diverse congregation located in Willow Grove PA (which is 16 miles NW of Center City Philadelphia PA).� Candidates should have a passion for our Lord Jesus Christ, a heart for evangelism and reaching the lost; be energetic and passionate about ministering to youth and families; and willing to invest time in the local community and our WGBC family.� We are a church family that has both a traditional worship service and a contemporary worship service in a casual loving atmosphere.� Average weekly attendance is 60 people with regular active neighborhood outreach ministries.

Responsibilities:

Provide Biblically based messages for two services weekly, that minister to a broad range of spiritual maturity

Promote and nurture the spiritual maturity and wellbeing of members

Provide pastoral care and visitation services, as needed
Oversee day-to-day ministry functions of the church

Mentorship of lay leaders

Oversee small group ministry and provide regular Bible Study
Administer the believer's baptism, communion, funerals, weddings, and child dedications


Qualifications:

Ordained (Baptist or would consider other evangelical denominations)

Strong preaching skills with experience preaching to a congregation

Preaches, teaches, and applied God's Word as our ultimate authority

Minimum of a 4 years bachelor's degree from an accredited college

Master's degree from an accredited seminary

Minimum of six years of Lead Pastor experience preferred, but not required

Has a clear and proven call to pastoral ministry

Demonstrate a clear testimony of faith and passionate devotion to Christ and his church

Strength in planning and organizing sermons and worship services

Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and lovingly in a Biblical manner

Live out and teach a lifestyle of adherence to Biblical standards or morality, ethics, and the fruit of the Sprit

Able to give trustworthy Biblical counsel

Ability to support lay staff and church council as a servant leader Pastor

Genuine heart for people from various groups, backgrounds and needs
